Rwanda
Trip Description
Charles Nsengiyumva, national leader in Rwanda, along with John and Gwen Johnson, will lead a group of students as they discuss and explore the role of the church before, during, and after the 1994 Rwandan genocide. This trip will give a picture of Rwanda today, while also discussing pressing issues that led to one of the most horrific events in recent history. This is a great opportunity for peace and conflict transformation to engage in real-world, on-the-ground discussions related the Rwandan genocide.
