UGANDA HEALTH CARE
MINISTRY AND MANAGEMENT

—walking alongside the local church globally—

Summary

The Uganda Health Care Ministry (UHCM) is striving to build a team of Ugandan nurses, doctors, and other administrative personnel whose purpose is to expand the programs and services the clinics can provide, while working towards self-sustainability. This is being achieved in partnership with local government entities, non-governmental organizations, and other churches and organizations that support medical missions. In addition, UHCM is working to integrate discipleship into the ministry of the clinics. Our desire is that every patient will have an opportunity to learn about Jesus, commit their lives to Him, and follow Him.

Presently, some of our clinics have electricity, but are without running water. Others have running water, but no electricity. In first world countries, it is unimaginable to think about admitting patients overnight without electricity to be able to properly care for them or clean drinking water to be able to offer them a cool drink. Through partnerships, capable leadership, education, and physical resources, we will not only expand the clinics, but will achieve our greatest goal: introducing people to a life with Jesus.
