Elizabeth Butler grew up with deep roots in the Church of God in northwest Indiana, eventually moving with her family to Anderson, Indiana, where they planted themselves at Park Place Church of God. Elizabeth had the opportunity to travel cross-culturally on short-term mission trips with the church and with her school, traveling to Uganda, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, England, and Estonia. These experiences fostered a desire to grow in intercultural connection and live out the Kingdom of God through an interconnected global and local mindset.
Elizabeth graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a degree in English and writing. She spent time serving Grant and Blackford Counties in Indiana through social work, using her relational skills and resourcefulness to help individuals build their own social and emotional skills. A growing desire for spiritual community and missions-oriented work brought Elizabeth to Global Strategy.
Elizabeth’s values include living with an eternal mindset, embracing courage, cultivating community, and sharing the stories of those who are marginalized by society. She hopes that through her role at Global Strategy, she will be able to live out these values as she walks alongside the local church globally, being a bridge between Global Strategy missionaries and their partners.
