MK is a shorthand for the term “missionary kid” or the child of someone serving overseas. Another name is third-culture kids (TCKs) because of the mixing of cultures (their home/parent’s culture and the culture of where they live) that the kids experience at such an important age of development. We wanted to hear from some MKs about life from their perspective, so we asked them.
In this episode, Andrew interviews Daleska and Emily Tatman, two teenage MKs serving with their parents Nate and Stacy Tatman in Madrid, Spain. Nate also happens to be the co-host of this podcast but was not allowed to be part of this interview.
