BACKGROUND
The West Indies Theological College began as the West Indies Bible Institute in 1950. This was the beginning of an effective training program for the church’s leadership in central and southern Caribbean region. In 2010, the school celebrated 60 years of ministry.

The goal of this project is to complete the office complex and library expansion construction projects, purchase office equipment and update the computer lab.
The library expansion and office complex are part of an initiative of the college and have been advanced partially by workcamps. Work needing completion includes: electrical, walls plastered, installation of windows and doors, tiling in the restrooms, and air-conditioning.
STRATEGY




Thankfully, there is a great solution. The implementation of the project will have three phases. Currently, phase one is to purchase computers, printers, a copier/printer, and office furniture for the academic administration offices. The goal for this phase is $6,000.
The second phase is to complete the new office complex that is above the library extension. This complex will house the academic administration offices. Work camps are scheduled in the next few months to paint and install doors and windows. Following these efforts, the ceiling and air-conditioning will be installed, the floors and bathrooms will be tiled, and furnishings installed.
The third phase is to complete the library expansion including: electrical wiring, plastering of walls, windows and doors installation, tiling of floors, and air-conditioning.
